3-Wire Copper John-type Fly

Here is a picture of a 3-wire copper john that I tied last summer.  I have no clue why I did not take a picture of the fully complete and trimmed fly, but this is what I shot.  BTW, I tied 12 of these flies and have one left.  They worked about as well as most of my copper johns in various single colors.

That's a cool fly, Freedog.  I bet you can stick lots of fish with that.  Have you tried spinning wire yet?  Try that on a Copper John.

  This is the same chartruese,red, and black variant that ive been tying for a couple of seasons now.  GREAT alternative when the trout have been educated to standard ''Johns'' dont you think?  Just thought it was neat to see the 3-wire ''RASTA-JOHN'' I throw with much success on the Upper North Platte River in Wyoming! Great minds think alike!!!
